11. A method, comprising:
connecting input ports for each of a plurality of cells in each of one or more phase legs in series between an alternating current (AC) phase and a neutral point (N) of an AC grid;
connecting output ports for each of the plurality of cells in each of the one or more phase legs in parallel to at least one common direct current (DC) bus (LVDC);
adjusting, for each of the plurality of cells, a cell voltage reference in dependence of a cell power reference deviation from an average power per cell, wherein the average power per cell depends on cell power references of the plurality of cells in the one or more phase legs;
regulating, for each of the plurality of cells, cell power transmitted by an AC/DC converter to a DC link in accordance with the cell power references;
transmitting, for each of the plurality of cells, the cell power from an input port to the DC link; and
transmitting, for each of the plurality of cells, the cell power from the DC link to an output port.
