1. A method of manufacturing a negative electrode, the method comprising:
coating a negative electrode slurry comprising a negative electrode active material on at least one surface of a current collector, to form a negative electrode having a negative electrode active material layer formed thereon;
pre-lithiating the negative electrode; and
aging the pre-lithiated negative electrode under an CO2 atmosphere to form an inorganic coating layer on a surface of the negative electrode active material layer.
