1. A method for adaptive routing comprising:
sending, by a processor, a vehicle routing request;
receiving, by the processor, a vehicle route in response to the vehicle routing request, the vehicle route traversing a plurality of path segments, wherein a first score is applied to each of the plurality of path segments having a first type of wireless network coverage and a second type of wireless network coverage and a second score is applied to each of the plurality of path segments having the second type of wireless network coverage for less than half of the corresponding path segment, wherein the vehicle route is based a first summation of scores for a first wireless network performance data for the plurality of path segments;
receiving, by the processor, at a time after the vehicle route is received, a revised vehicle route based on a second summation of scores for a second wireless network performance data at the time after the vehicle route is received and after the first wireless network performance data is collected, for the plurality of path segments and caused by a change in vehicle traffic on the plurality of path segments, and wherein the revised vehicle route includes less than all of the plurality of path segments of the vehicle route, and
enabling, by the processor, a driving assistance capability of the vehicle based on a driving assistance data requirement, the first wireless performance data, and the second wireless performance data,
wherein a frequency at which the second wireless network performance data for the plurality of path segments is collected is based on a complexity of the vehicle route.
