1. A ballistic protective helmet comprising:
a shell; and
a threaded sleeve;
wherein the shell comprises a laminate shell material that includes multiple textile fabric layers connected in a connection matrix,
wherein a blind hole is provided in the shell,
wherein the blind hole extends through a plurality of the multiple textile fabric layers of the laminate shell material, but does not extend through all of the multiple textile fabric layers of the laminate shell material,
wherein the plurality of the multiple textile fabric layers of the laminate shell material through which the blind hole extends peripherally surround the blind hole,
wherein the threaded sleeve is received in the blind hole,
wherein the threaded sleeve has an outer thread that penetrates into the plurality of the textile fabric layers of the laminate shell material that peripherally surround the blind hole, and
wherein the threaded sleeve has an inner thread.
