1. An adjustable firearm rest configured for attaching to a mounting surface, the adjustable firearm rest comprising:
a support member;
at least one support post having a top portion and a bottom portion, wherein the top portion is engaged to the support member;
at least one adjustable attachment assembly that is engaged to the bottom portion of the at least one support post;
wherein the at least one adjustable attachment assembly comprises:
an attachment section having a first portion and a second portion connected by a closed side;
a pivot member having a first pivot portion and a second pivot portion that is engaged to the first pivot portion, and wherein the first pivot portion is hingedly engaged to the attachment section and the second pivot portion is engaged to the at least one support post;
wherein the pivot member is configured to move between a closed position and an open position.
