1. A method for increasing a polyphenol content of a rice seed, comprising transferring a constructed overexpression vector comprising ZlRc and ZlRd genes into rice to obtain a transgenic rice plant that overexpresses the ZlRc and ZlRd genes simultaneously, wherein the nucleotide sequence of ZlRd gene is set forth in SEQ ID NO: 1 and the nucleotide sequence of ZlRc gene is set forth in SEQ ID NO: 2.
