1. A system for monitoring breathing gas support in airplanes or aircraft, the system comprising:
a monitoring system mobile module configured to be carried in a pocket in one aviator, pilot, copilot or aircrew, or attached on clothing of the one aviator, pilot, copilot or aircrew, the mobile module comprising:
a sensor system, the sensor system comprising at least one sensor that is configured as an oxygen sensor, a carbon dioxide sensor, a carbon monoxide sensor or as at least one further gas sensor wherein the sensor system is configured to provide a qualitative and a quantitative measurement-based detection of a concentration of oxygen and/or a concentration of carbon dioxide and/or a concentration of carbon monoxide, and/or a concentration of another gas;
a control unit connected to the sensor system and configured to organize, monitor, control and/or regulate a sequence of the measurement-based detection of the gas composition of air, breathing air or breathing gases in an airplane or aircraft; and
a mobile module wireless data interface;
a breathing gas mask connected to the sensor system by a measured gas line;
a memory;
a pressure sensor;
a shut-off valve; wherein the control unit is further configured, in cooperation with the pressure sensor, the shut-off valve, and the memory, to determine a current pressure level in the breathing gas mask; and
an external input/output unit, wherein the external input/output unit is configured to display, signal or issue an alarm based on the measurement-based detection and/or based on results of the concentration of oxygen in the breathing gas detected by the sensor system, wherein the external input/output unit is configured as a wristwatch worn by the one aviator, pilot, copilot or aircrew or worn by another aviator, pilot, copilot or aircrew, wherein the external input/output unit is configured for signaling or alerting with a visual, acoustic or tactile output of information, signals, alarms and/or alerts to the one aviator, pilot, copilot or aircrew or the other aviator, pilot, copilot or aircrew, the wristwatch comprising wristwatch wireless data interface,
wherein the system is configured to establish a wireless data link between the mobile module wireless data interface and the wristwatch wireless data interface, the external input/output unit being connected by the wireless data link to the control unit of the monitoring system mobile module, wherein the wireless data link enables wireless data exchange for two-way signaling or alerting from the monitoring system mobile module of the one aviator, pilot, copilot or aircrew to another aviator, pilot, copilot or aircrew and/or signaling or alerting from a monitoring system mobile module of the other aviator, pilot, copilot or aircrew to the one aviator, pilot, copilot or aircrew.
