1. A post-dilatation assembly for remodeling an implanted stented prosthetic heart valve, the assembly comprising:
a catheter defining an inflation lumen; and
a balloon comprising a balloon axis, the balloon carried by the catheter and in fluid communication with the inflation lumen;
wherein the balloon defines an intermediate segment disposed about the balloon axis, a first end segment disposed about the balloon axis and proximal the intermediate segment, and a second end segment disposed about the balloon axis and distal the intermediate segment, the first end segment, the second end segment, and the intermediate segment are aligned along the balloon axis with the intermediate segment disposed between the first end segment and the second end segment;
and further wherein the first end segment is less compliant than the intermediate segment;
and even further wherein in an inflated state, a shape of the first end segment differs from a shape of the intermediate segment, and wherein the intermediate segment is defined by a convex outer surface that faces away from the balloon axis in the inflated state.
