1. A process comprising:
detecting, by an application running on a device, an input selecting a site on a model in the application for administration of a drug management device;
setting, by the application running on the device and on the model in the application, a visual indicator that the site is unavailable in response to the input selecting the site, wherein the visual indicator on the model expires after a first predetermined duration; and
writing, by the application running on the device, a log entry to track usage of the site in response to the input selecting the site.
