1. A fishing lure comprising:
an elongated body having a first end and a second end, the elongated body having a density of 5 to 6.5 g/cm3 and containing 85% to 90% by weight zinc, 8% to 12% by weight aluminum, 1% to 2% by weight copper, and no more than 1% by weight lead, and
an outer protective powder coating formed on the elongated body, the outer protective powder coating comprising at least one of a thermoplastic material and a thermoset material.
