1. A luminescence device, comprising:
a first electrode;
a second electrode disposed on the first electrode; and
at least one functional layer disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode,
wherein the at least one functional layer comprises a polycyclic compound represented by Formula 1:

X is O, or S,
R1 and R2 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a deuterium atom, a halogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group of 1 to 20 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group of 6 to 30 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group of 2 to 30 ring carbon atoms,
Ar1 and Ar2 are each independently represented by Formula 2:

wherein in Formula 2,
Ar11 is a substituted or unsubstituted phenylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted divalent biphenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted divalent terphenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted phenanthrylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted fluorenylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted naphthylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted carbazolylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted dibenzofuranylene group, or a substituted or unsubstituted dibenzothiophenylene group,
Ar12 is a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted biphenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted terphenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted phenanthryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted fluorenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted naphthyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted carbazolyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted dibenzofuranyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted dibenzothiophenyl group, and
p is 0 or 1,
provided that i) when n is 1 and *—(Ar11)pAr12 of Ar1 is an unsubstituted biphenylene group, then *—(Ar11)pAr12 of Ar2 is not an unsubstituted dibenzothiophenylene group, and ii) when n is 1 and *—(Ar11)pAr12 of Ar2 is an unsubstituted biphenylene group, then *—(Ar11)pAr12 of Ar1 is not an unsubstituted dibenzothiophenylene group,
wherein in Formula 1,
Ar3 is a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group of 6 to 30 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group of 2 to 30 ring carbon atoms,
L is a direct linkage, a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group of 6 to 30 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heteroarylene group of 2 to 30 ring carbon atoms,
l is an integer of 0 to 3,
m is an integer of 0 to 4, and
n is an integer of 0 to 3.
