1. A mobile device movement detection system comprising:
a sensor data collection module configured to receive sensor data measured by at least one of a vehicle sensor or a mobile device sensor, the sensor data including first acceleration data and second acceleration data;
a movement event detection module configured to determine a mobile device movement event based on a comparison between a threshold angle and an angle difference, the angle difference determined based on a comparison between the first acceleration data and the second acceleration data;
a sensor data aggregation module configured to aggregate the sensor data for a period of time encompassing the mobile device movement event;
a risk determination module configured to calculate a risk score based on aggregated sensor data; and
a risk feedback generation module configured to generate a notification to advise a user of a mobile device to stop using the mobile device when the risk score exceeds a risk score threshold.
