1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
generating multiple equally dimensioned grids and multiple test locations within an area serviced by a telecommunications network,
wherein each test location is located at a population centroid of a respective grid, and
wherein a population of the respective grid has a smallest possible sum of squared distances to the population centroid;
applying a machine learning module to group the multiple grids into multiple clusters; and
transmitting, to at least one computer device, information describing each cluster,
wherein the information enables at least one vehicle to determine network performance of the telecommunications network by drive testing proximate to the test locations.
