1. A method for use in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), the method comprising:
establishing communication via a network with a capillary device;
receiving, from the capillary device, a user identity associated with the capillary device;
receiving, from a first network function, information associated with a second network function;
sending a request message to the second network function, the request message requesting that the user identity be authenticated by the second network function; and
receiving a response from the second network function, the response indicating whether the capillary device is allowed to send and receive data via the network.
