1. A monitoring server for monitoring an inmate communication session, the monitoring server comprising:
at least one processor configured to:
receive the inmate communication session;
determine a user of the inmate communication session;
configure a user profile of the user of the inmate communication session;
transmit communication session data associated with the inmate communication session to a monitoring station to monitor the inmate communication session;
in response to the configuring the user profile of the user of the inmate communication session, assign a reviewer to monitor the inmate communication session based on whether a real-time monitoring is required for the user, reviewer availability data, and the user profile;
receive input data associated with the inmate communication session from the monitoring station;
monitor whether the input data has been received from the monitoring station within a predetermined amount of time;
synchronize the input data and the inmate communication session in response to receiving the input data; and
interrupt or disconnect the inmate communication session based on the input data.
