1. A method comprising:
receiving, by a wireless device from a base station, a first configuration message comprising one or more cell specific time division duplex (TDD) uplink (UL)-downlink (DL) patterns, each cell specific TDD UL-DL pattern indicating a number of uplink slots and a slot configuration period;
determining, by the wireless device, a size of a sidelink resource pool bitmap and a sidelink resource pool configuration period based on the one or more slot configuration periods associated with the one or more cell specific TDD UL-DL patterns, wherein the size of the sidelink resource pool bitmap is indicative of a number of sidelink slots;
receiving, from the base station and based on the size of the sidelink resource pool bitmap, a second configuration message comprising the sidelink resource pool bitmap;
determining whether the size of the sidelink resource pool bitmap is larger than a first number of a first set of uplink slots associated with a first cell specific TDD UL-DL pattern;
in response to determining that the size of the sidelink resource pool bitmap is larger than the first number of the first set of uplink slots, applying a first portion of the sidelink resource pool bitmap to the first set of the uplink slots and applying the second portion of the sidelink resource pool bitmap to a second set of uplink slots associated with a second cell specific TDD UL-DL pattern sequentially;
determining, based on the applying, one or more sidelink slots within the sidelink resource pool configuration period; and
transmitting one or more transport blocks via the one or more sidelink slots.
