1. A power supply system comprising:
a first power supply circuit configured to:
generate a first output voltage and regulate the first output voltage via a first control signal; and
source, according at least to the first output voltage, a first portion of an output current sourced by the power supply system; and
a second power supply circuit configured to:
source, according at least to a second output voltage, a second portion of the output current;
when receiving the first control signal from the first power supply circuit:
generate a second control signal based at least in part on the first control signal; and
regulate the second output voltage via the first control signal and not via the second control signal; and
when not receiving the first control signal from the first power supply circuit:
maintain the second control signal independently from the first control signal; and
regulate the second output voltage via the second control signal.
