1. An active implantable medical device (AIMD), the AIMD comprising:
a) an AIMD casing housing a circuit board connector assembly, the circuit board connector assembly comprising:
i) an AIMD circuit board having at least a first electrical circuit; and
ii) a terminal pin connector, comprising:
A) an electrically conductive connector housing that is electrically connected to the at least first electrical circuit, wherein the connector housing has a housing sidewall inner surface defining a housing opening extending along a longitudinal axis; and
B) at least one electrically conductive connector prong angling from the inner surface of the connector housing sidewall toward the longitudinal axis of the housing opening; and
b) a feedthrough, comprising:
i) an electrically conductive ferrule comprising a ferrule opening, wherein the ferrule is sealed in an opening in the AIMD casing;
ii) an insulator hermetically sealed to the ferrule in the ferrule opening, the insulator having an insulator passageway that extends to an insulator body fluid side opposite an insulator device side, wherein, when the feedthrough is connected to the AIMD casing, the insulator body fluid and device sides reside outside and inside the AIMD casing, respectively; and
iii) an electrically conductive terminal pin hermetically sealed to the insulator in the insulator passageway, wherein a body fluid side portion of the terminal pin extends outwardly beyond the insulator body fluid side and a device side portion of the terminal pin extends outwardly beyond the insulator device side,
c) wherein, with the device side portion of the terminal pin of the feedthrough inserted into the connector housing opening, the connector prong angling from the inner surface of the connector housing sidewall contacts the terminal pin to electrically connect the terminal pin to the at least first electrical circuit of the AIMD circuit board, and
d) wherein, if desired, the feedthrough is movable with respect to the AIMD circuit board to remove the terminal pin out of the connector housing opening and out of contact with the connector prong to electrically disconnect the terminal pin from the at least first electrical circuit of the AIMD circuit board.
