1. A ventricular status identification method, comprising:
determining a region of interest from a plurality of target images, wherein the target images target pixels within an endocardial contour of a left ventricle, a boundary of the region of interest is approximately located on two sides of a bottom of the endocardial contour, and the region of interest corresponds to a mitral valve;
determining a sum of the grayscale values a plurality of pixels in the region of interest in each of the target images;
determining a difference in the sums of the grayscale values between two of the target images, wherein determining the difference in the sums of the grayscale values between two of the target images comprises:
determining two target images having a largest and a smallest in the sums of the grayscale values among the target images as the two of the target images; and
determining a motion of the mitral valve for evaluating a status of the left ventricle according to the difference in the sums of the grayscale values between the two of the target images.
