1. A rendering method for rendering a sequence of frames,
the method comprising:
maintaining an indication of lighting conditions on one or more objects across multiple frames of the sequence of frames, wherein the maintaining comprises:
selecting only a portion of the indication of lighting conditions, and
updating existing values of the selected portion of the indication of lighting conditions; and
rendering the frames of the sequence of frames, wherein said rendering comprises sampling the maintained indication of lighting conditions.
