1. A reagent analyzer, comprising:
a non-transitory computer readable medium;
an imaging system having an imager having a field of view with a first read position and a second read position; and
a processor operably coupled with the imaging system, the processor being programmed with a calibration routine that upon execution causes the processor to transmit one or more control signal to the imaging system to cause the imager to capture a first image and a second image, to receive the first image and the second image, to determine a positional calibration factor for the second read position based on differences in pixel values of regions within the first image and the second image depicting a dry reagent pad, and to store the positional calibration factor in the non-transitory computer readable medium; and
wherein the first image is indicative of a first reflectance value of the dry reagent pad positioned at the first read position in the field of view and the second image is indicative of a second reflectance value of the dry reagent pad positioned at the second read position in the field of view, the first image and the second image each having regions with pixel values depicting the dry reagent pad.
