A cathode material, comprising cathode material particles, wherein each of the cathode material particles comprises a central portion, and a surface layer area, wherein the central portion comprises lithium oxide, the surface layer area comprises lithium oxide and elemental sulfur, and the surface layer area comprises pores filled with the elemental sulfur, wherein:
an outer surface of each of the cathode material particles is further formed with a coating,
the coating is formed of titanium dioxide,
in the cathode material, a weight ratio of the lithium oxide, the elemental sulfur, and the titanium dioxide is (90-45):(5-50):(2-8),
the lithium oxide comprises δLiNimConX(1-m-n)O2:(1−δ)Li2MO3,
0≤δ≤1, X comprises at least one of Mn, Al, Nb, and Fe, M comprises at least one of Mn, Al, Nb, Fe, Co, and Ni, 0≤m<1, 0≤n<1, and 0≤m+n<1.
