1. A device for photoexcitation of a photo-responsive material, comprising:
a housing including an ultraviolet lamp at one end and a visible light lamp at an opposing end;
wherein the ultraviolet lamp is configured to emit light at a wavelength sufficient to photoexcite the photo-responsive material into a first state; and
wherein the visible light lamp is configured to emit light at a wavelength sufficient to photoexcite the photo-responsive material into a second state.
