1. An absorbent article comprising:
a liquid permeable topsheet comprising:
a patterned apertured nonwoven material comprising:
a plurality of land areas in the patterned apertured nonwoven material; and
a plurality of apertures defined in the patterned apertured nonwoven material, wherein at least some land areas of the plurality of land areas surround at least some apertures of the plurality of apertures, and wherein the plurality of apertures each define an aperture area;
wherein the plurality of apertures are non-homogeneous in a repeat unit such that at least two apertures of the plurality of apertures have a different size or a different shape;
wherein the patterned apertured nonwoven material has an Effective Open Area of about 3% to about 30%, according to an Aperture Test;
wherein the patterned apertured nonwoven material comprises a nonwoven layer, and wherein the plurality of apertures are formed through the nonwoven layer;
wherein a wearer-facing surface of the patterned apertured nonwoven material is hydrophobic, and wherein a garment-facing surface of the patterned apertured nonwoven web is hydrophilic;
wherein the plurality of apertures each comprise a perimeter;
wherein at least one land area of the plurality of land areas is present intermediate a first group of apertures and a second group of apertures;
a liquid impermeable backsheet; and
an absorbent core at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet.
