1. A method comprising:
receiving, from an application layer of a user equipment (UE), a first uplink packet at a first time;
identifying a latency between the first time and a first instance of a periodic transmission resource during which the first uplink packet is transmitted by the UE; and
providing information indicative of the latency to the application layer of the UE.
