1. A method comprising:
receiving, by an access and mobility management function (AMF) from a base station, a non-access stratum (NAS) request message of a wireless device comprising one or more single network slice selection assistance information corresponding to one or more network slices;
determining, by the AMF, to perform network slice specific authentication and authorization (NSSAA) for a first network slice of the one or more network slices; and
sending, by the AMF to the base station, based on the determining, an N2 setup message comprising an indication that the first network slice is pending, the indication comprising single network slice selection assistance information of the first network slice, wherein the base station maintains a radio resource control (RRC) connection with the wireless device based on the indication that the first network slice is pending.
