1. A method for decoding a video, the method comprising:
obtaining a residual coefficient of a current transform block;
inverse-quantizing the residual coefficient;
determining a transform type set of the current transform block;
obtaining a residual sample of the current transform block by performing inverse-transform for the current transform block based on the transform type set; and
obtaining a reconstruction sample by summing the residual sample and a prediction sample,
wherein, in response to a case where a coding block including the current transform block is partitioned into two transform blocks, the transform type set of the current transform block is determined differently between when the coding block is partitioned in a horizontal direction and when the coding block is partitioned in a vertical direction, and
wherein the coding block is obtained based on a tree-based block division including at least one of a quad division or a binary division.
