1. A sensor comprising:
a sheet metal element; and
a carrier,
wherein the sheet metal element is arranged on a first side of the carrier,
wherein the sheet metal element extends within a ring located between an inner circle and an outer circle,
wherein the sheet metal element includes cutting structures that are cut into at least one retaining element of the carrier for fastening the sheet metal element to the carrier, and
wherein the cutting structures include inner cutting structures arranged and extending circumferentially along the inner circle and/or outer cutting structures arranged and extending circumferentially along the outer circle.
