1. A device comprising:
a processor configured to:
receive surgical operation data associated with a surgical operation, wherein the surgical operation data comprises at least one of patient information, healthcare professional (HCP) information, or information associated with a surgical device to be used for the surgical operation;
based on the surgical operation data, identify the surgical device to be used for the surgical operation and a surgical step associated with the surgical operation;
based on the surgical device, the surgical step, and the surgical operation data, determine an allowable operation range associated with the surgical device, wherein the allowable operation range is an operation range to control the surgical device for the surgical step, wherein the allowable operation range comprises a first allowable operation range and a second allowable operation range, wherein the first allowable operation range is configured to control the surgical device for the surgical step based on an input from the HCP, wherein the second allowable operation range is configured to control the surgical device for the surgical step based on an input from generated by a machine learning (ML) model, and wherein the first allowable operation range and the second allowable operation range are different;
receive an adjustment input configuration, wherein the adjustment input configuration is configured to control the surgical device for the surgical step;
determine whether the adjustment input configuration is from the HCP or is generated by the ML model;
determine whether the adjustment input configuration is within the determined allowable operation range, wherein the determined allowable range is one of the first allowable operation range or the second allowable operation range; and
based on a determination that the adjustment input configuration is outside of the allowable operation range, block the adjustment input configuration to control the surgical device.
