1. A method comprising:
determining, by a processor, an eye tiredness of a wearer of a head-mountable display (HMD) based on:
ciliary and extraocular eye muscle strain of the wearer, or
iris sphincter and dilator eye muscle strain of the wearer; and
adjusting, by the processor, a distance from eyes of the wearer to a virtual image displayed by the HMD based on the eye tiredness.
