1. An electric drive axle system, comprising:
a gear box comprising a fixed center distance measured from a first carrier to an axle on which a plurality of pinions are arranged and a second fixed center distance measured from a second carrier to a second axle on which a plurality of gears are arranged;
a plurality of gear baffles, each of the plurality of gear baffles arranged at least partially around a gear of the plurality of gears and configured to reduce a size of a space between the gear and the second carrier, wherein each gear baffle of the plurality of gear baffles is differently sized; and
a plurality of pinion baffles, each of the plurality of pinion baffles arranged at least partially around a pinion of the plurality of pinions and configured to reduce a size of a space between the pinion and the first carrier, wherein each pinion baffle of the plurality of pinion baffles is differently sized, and wherein a largest gear of the plurality of gears and a largest pinion of the plurality of pinions do not comprise a baffle.
