1. A suspension assembly for at least one door leaf of a sliding door, comprising:
a suspension part which comprises a running surface on which a carriage attached to the door leaf bears and on which the carriage rolls or slides in order to displace the door leaf; and
a component part which is attached or configured to be attached to the suspension part and which serves to hold at least one of an electrical or a mechanical component;
wherein the suspension part comprises at least one lower support element and at least one upper support element;
wherein the component part comprises at least one hanging element by way of which the component part is able to be hung on the suspension part in such a manner that the hanging element is supported in a downward direction by the lower support element in a first support point and in an upward direction by the upper support element in a second support point;
wherein the first support point is at a distance between the second support point and the center of gravity defined by a weight distribution of the component part and the attached at least one of the electrical or the mechanical component; and
wherein the lower support element extends out towards the component part less than, or at most as far as, the running surface.
