1. A method for killing a programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) expressing cell, the method comprising:
contacting the PD-L1 expressing cell with a plurality of recombinant NK-92 cells that each express an anti-PD-L1 chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) and an Fc receptor,
wherein the PD-L1 expressing cell is a myeloid-derived suppressor cell (MDSC) or a tumor associated macrophage (TAM),
wherein the CAR has at least 90% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO: 15.
