1. A wingtip attachment for connection to a wing, the wingtip attachment comprising:
a tip rib comprising:
a first row of fastener openings located and accessible within an aerodynamic contour of a wing box and bounded by a top wing skin and a bottom wing skin; and
a second row of fastener openings located and accessible outside the aerodynamic contour of a wing box and below the bottom wing skin.
