1. A biometrics authentication device mounted in a vehicle, the biometrics authentication device comprising:
a sensor configured to acquire, from a user of the vehicle, biological information from which biometrics authentication can be performed;
a processor configured to perform an authentication process based on the acquired biological information; and
a controller configured to control permission and non-permission of execution of the authentication process, the controller being configured to permit the execution of the authentication process when an authentication request has been received from another vehicle-mounted device.
