1. A method of manufacturing a single-crystal microstructure superalloy component, the method comprising the steps of:
providing an already manufactured component, wherein the component is formed entirely or partially by additive manufacturing,
providing a housing accommodating the component,
filling the housing accommodating the component with a filler material in a form of powder for forming a mould of the component, wherein the filler material has a different chemical composition than the component and is configured to form a mould of the component upon sintering,
melting and cooling the component for forming the single-crystal microstructure of the component, wherein the component is melted throughout its volume by exposure to an energy beam source.
