20. An information processing method implemented by a processor, the method comprising:
acquiring touch location information indicating a touch location on a touch panel;
in a case in which the touch location indicated by the touch location information is in a first region, determining movement of an object in a first direction, wherein the object is in a first path that is in the first direction in a game space;
in a case in which the touch location indicated by the touch location information is in a second region partially overlapping the first region, determining movement of the object in a second direction, wherein the object is in a second path that is in the second direction in the game space;
in a case in which the touch location indicated by the touch location information is in an overlapping region between the first region and the second region and in which there is a connection point of the first path and the second path in an area in the moving direction of the object in the game space,
selecting, based on the touch location information, the moving direction of the object at the connection point from among the first direction and the second direction; and
displaying in the game space an image indicating a selection result before the object reaches the connection point.
