1. A fluid filtration system comprising:
an inlet path;
an outlet path;
a recirculation loop comprising:
a fluid connection to the inlet path;
a crossflow filter configured to receive fluid via a filter inlet from the recirculation loop, a retentate outlet connected to the recirculation loop and one or more permeate outlets configured to supply permeate fluid; and
a first pump configured to move fluids from the inlet path and the retentate outlet to the filter inlet;
a second pump configured to move permeate fluid from the permeate outlets to a hemoglobin sensor;
an adsorption filter fluidly connected via the hemoglobin sensor to the second pump outlet and configured to adsorb elements from the permeate fluid, the absorption filter including an adsorption filter outlet fluidly connected the outlet path; and
a controller configured receive one or more signals from the hemoglobin sensor and to issue a warning or vary at least one flow control components in the fluid filtration system based on the one or more signals.
