1. A pulmonary implant device comprising:
an outer wall;
an inner wall defining a lumen from a proximal end to a distal end of the pulmonary implant device; and
a one-way valve positioned within the lumen, the one-way valve configured to permit airflow in a first direction through the one-way valve and prevent airflow in a second direction through the one-way valve,
wherein, in at least a first configuration of the pulmonary implant device, there is a gap between at least a portion of the one-way valve and the inner wall, the gap configured to permit airflow in both the first direction and the second direction through the lumen from the proximal end to the distal end of the pulmonary implant device.
