1. A method of producing a shoe upper, comprising:
providing a first sheet, wherein the first sheet comprises a first outer surface comprising a first region, and wherein the first sheet comprises a leather,
providing a second sheet, wherein the second sheet comprises a second outer surface comprising a second region, and wherein the second sheet comprises a textile,
arranging the first sheet in a forefoot region of the shoe upper and arranging the second sheet in a heel region of the shoe upper,
connecting the first sheet to the second sheet in a connecting region, wherein the second sheet extends rearward of the first sheet and the connecting region into the heel region, and
applying a first coating onto the first region of the first sheet, the second region of the second sheet, and a third region of the connecting region, wherein the first region, the second region, and the third region are connected.
