1. A flavor container for an aerosol provision device for modifying an inhalable medium comprising an aerosol, the flavor container comprising:
an elongate body of fibrous material, the elongate body of fibrous material comprising crimped paper and having a first section, a second section, and a third section, the second section and the third section arranged on either side of the first section, the elongate body of fibrous material being removably received in or attached to a mouthpiece such that the elongate body of fibrous material is in abutting or spaced apart relation downstream from generation of the aerosol within the aerosol provision device,
wherein the fibrous material permits the aerosol generated in the aerosol provision device and upstream of the flavor container to flow into and through the flavor container,
wherein a first substance is distributed in the fibrous material of the first section, the first substance for modifying a property of the previously generated aerosol when the aerosol flows through the flavor container, and
wherein the fibrous material of each of the second section and the third section is substantially free of the first substance and acts as a barrier to prevent the first substance exiting the flavor container.
