1. A method for reducing risk of infection by a virus in an animal in need thereof, the method comprising administering to the animal an effective amount of a feed additive, wherein the feed additive comprises a mixture of organic acids, the animal's feed is or is not contaminated with the virus, and the virus is porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV), porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV), or Seneca Valley A virus (SVA).
