1. An electronic device attachable to and detachable from a side of a cooking vessel configured to be heated based on a magnetic field generated from an induction cooktop, the electronic device comprising:
a magnetic harvester circuit configured to generate electric energy based on the magnetic field generated by a coil among a plurality of coils of the induction cooktop based on the electronic device being attached to the side of the cooking vessel;
a temperature sensor configured to be driven based on the generated electric energy and to detect a temperature; and
a communication circuit configured to transmit, to the induction cooktop, information indicating the temperature and information about the generated electric energy including frequency and duty cycle of AC power for identifying the coil generating the magnetic field among the plurality of coils of the induction cooktop.
