1. A computing platform for use with a display and at least one lighting element separate from the display and communicatively coupled to the computing platform, the computing platform comprising:
a hardware processor; and
a memory storing a software code;
the hardware processor configured to execute the software code to:
receive an entertainment content to provide an entertainment in an environment by playing the entertainment content using the display, the entertainment content including a video content including a plurality of frames;
divide each of the plurality of frames into one or more first regions and one or more second regions;
detect at least one attribute of the entertainment content from the one or more first regions and not the one or more second regions;
determine an artistic intent using the at least one attribute;
compose an ambient lighting routine based on the artistic intent; and
control the at least one lighting element to perform the ambient lighting routine and generate ambient lighting in the environment to supplement the entertainment provided by playing the entertainment content on the display.
