1. A Li+ ion-conducting separator,
wherein the separator:
is polycrystalline;
has a thickness from 10 nm to 1 mm;
comprises grains having a d90 grain size ranges from 0.1 to 20 μm; and
has a 10% total reflectance for light wavelengths for 400 nm to 700 nm.
