1. A dynamic infrared (IR) scene generation system comprising:
a thin-film screen configured to react to contact by an IR laser;
a laser scanning system configured to contact the thin-film screen with IR laser power, the laser scanning system comprising an IR laser source, one or more acousto-optic modulators, a laser scanner; and
image processor operably connected to a hardware controller configured to control the laser scanning system, wherein the laser scanning system is configured to contact the thin-film screen with the IR laser based on an IR scene input from the image processor, wherein the acousto-optic modulator is configured to direct a beam from the IR laser source to a collimation member before the IR laser contacts the thin-film screen.
