1. A computer-implemented method, comprising:
determining an identifier that is associated with a physical object in a real-world environment, wherein the physical object is viewable within an extended reality (XR) environment that displays at least a portion of the real-world environment;
transmitting the identifier for receipt by a first computing system that accesses data associated with the identifier;
receiving, in response to transmitting the identifier, the data associated with the identifier provided by the first computing system;
in response to determining that the data associated with the identifier meets a data condition, generating an XR input element associated with an operation of the physical object, wherein an interaction with the XR input element activates one or more actions to be performed associated with the physical object in the real-world environment, and wherein the data condition is included in one or more rules associated with the identifier, and wherein the one or more rules include data conditions associated with a generation and a display of the XR input element;
causing display of the XR input element in the XR environment;
receiving an input corresponding to an interaction with the XR input element; and
causing, in response to receiving the input, a second computing system to perform an action that modifies the operation of the physical object.
