1. A method of manufacturing a wearable device comprising a printed circuit board (PCB) on which is mounted electronic components, the method comprising:
attaching said PCB to a cage,
providing a mold for a strap, the strap comprising a first end, a second end and at least one opening intermediate said first and second ends,
inserting said PCB into said mold,
arresting the cage such that said PCB and said cage are not in contact with and cannot move with respect to said mold by attaching at least one insert tool to said cage at the location of said opening,
wherein said insert tool includes an injection bore;
injecting a wet applied structural component into said mold via said injection bore;
removing said insert tool;
and covering said opening with a plate.
