1. A method for displacing a bushing assembly relative to a housing opening in a structural member using an actuator comprising an actuator drive member and a brace assembly comprising a brace rod and a brace nut, the method comprising the steps of:
providing an engaging member defining an engaging member opening and first and second engaging member surfaces
where
the engaging member opening extends between the first and second engaging member surfaces and is configured to allow a portion of the brace rod to extend through the engaging member opening,
the first engaging member surface is configured to engage the actuator drive member such that movement of the actuator drive member in a displacement direction displaces the engaging member in the displacement direction,
the second engaging surface is configured to engage at least a portion of the bushing assembly such that displacement of the engaging member in the displacement direction displaces at least the bushing assembly in the displacement direction;
arranging the engaging member relative to the brace assembly such that
at least a portion of the brace rod extends through the engaging member opening and the housing opening; and
the brace nut engages the actuator;
arranging an anchor member to engage the brace rod and the structural member; and
operating the actuator to displace the engaging member in the displacement direction relative to the structural member such that the engaging member displaces the bushing assembly towards a desired position relative to the housing opening in the structural member;
wherein the anchor member defines an anchor cavity, where at least a portion of the bushing assembly is located within the anchor cavity when the bushing assembly is in the desired position; and
wherein the engaging member opening defines at least a first opening portion and a second opening portion, wherein: the first opening portion is sized and dimensioned to allow the brace rod to extend therethrough; and the second opening portion is sized and dimensioned to accommodate at least a portion of the bushing assembly.
