1. A golf ball comprising:
a center core comprising polybutadiene; and
a cover layer disposed over the center core;
wherein the cover layer is composed of an ionomer and a micropowder material comprising a reaction product of a polybutadiene in an amount ranging from 40-90 weight percent of the micropowder material, an isoprene rubber, a zinc diacrylate in an amount ranging from 5-50 weight percent of the micropowder material, a zinc oxide, a zinc stearate, a peroxide initiator in an amount ranging from 0.1-10 weight percent of the micropowder material, a peptizer, a bismuth oxychloride, and a styrene butadiene rubber in an amount ranging from 0.01-30 weight percent of the micropowder material.
